If you still have your website with Joomla! 4.x.x, 3.x.x, 2.5.x, 1.7.x, 1.6.x, 1.5.x, or even Joomla! Running 1.0.x is urgently migrating to the current Joomla! Recommend version 5.x.x because versions older than 4.4.x are no longer provided with security updates. There is no support anymore and you run the risk of your website being hacked and your content being deleted. Version 4.3.4 has not been supplied with security updates since 17.10.2023. So now it is urgent to upgrade to at least Joomla! 4.4.x. Now it’s even more useful on Joomla! 5.x.x to migrate because Joomla! 4.4.x will only be supplied with bugfix and security updates until 14.10.2025.

Migration takes place in several steps. First of all, the new Joomla! Files installed in a subfolder of the webspace. After that, the database is transferred to the new structure and then usually the template used (files responsible for the design and layout of the page) has to be reprogrammed.

When migrating from the very old Joomla! 1.0.x, an intermediate step has to be inserted, as only on Joomla! 1.5.26 must be migrated before migrating to Joomla! 3.10.12 and possibly upgrade to Joomla! 4.4.x and then 5.x.x can be performed.

I have already gained a lot of experience in numerous migrations and upgrades, including for other content management and shop systems, and can thus bring your sites up to date at a fair price. Depending on which Joomla! If extensions are installed, the effort of migration can vary greatly.

• Joomla! Upgrade to version 5.x.x starting from version 4.x.x: from EUR 98,00 incl. VAT

Depending on which external extensions are installed and may have to be migrated elaborately, the price increases accordingly.

Please do not hesitate to migrate or upgrade your installation for too long and please take my service, because if your pages are compromised, the damage is usually very large.
